Norma's berries

I have a few minutes this morning to add a post to my blog.  I thought I would finish off showing you some more of Norma’s fabulous embroideries.  The above framed berries are exquisite.  The berries are actually raised and embroidered with various stitches including satin stitches.  I love the bright colours too.

Young lady

The young lady in this frame is stitched in petit point.  The work is very detailed and delicate.  I especially love the use of colours.  Once again a very beautiful piece and exquisitely stitched.  This embroidery would have taken quite some time to stitch.

Norma's amazing zip

Last but not least is this amazing necklace which is actually a beaded zip.  I have never seen anything like it and the beading work is wonderful.  The colours all seem to go together very well.

Norma is very talented and artistic.  She not only embroiders from patterns of others but her artistic ability allows her to add her own creativity to the pieces she stitches.

It was a pleasure meeting Norma and I was thrilled that she shared her embroideries with me.  Thank you Norma !
