Good Morning !  The following photos are still of Tokyo.  In yesterday’s post I mentioned that I had visited the largest Arts and Crafts Bazaar in Tokyo.  I bought a few things which I thought I would show you.  Below is a photo of a fabric pen holder.  I think it’s a great idea and I am using mine now.  It stops me losing pens in the bottom of my handbag.  I love the fabric, very Japanese.

The photo below shows you the pen holder when it is open.  It would be very simple thing to make.  Looks like it is made from a lined triangular piece of fabric.  You would then stitch a section to keep in your pen as shown below.  Great gift idea to make !

Then I saw and fell head over heels in love with the rabbit below.  I am using it as a key holder but every time I look at her she makes me smile.  She is dressed in typical japanese kimono.  It is one of my favourite things from my trip.

Last but not least I bought the fabric rose below for a dear friend of mine who looked after my sons while I was away.  Again I love the colours in the rose.  It is made from fabric and I imagine they would have used some type of fabric stiffener to add shape to the fabric so it can be transformed into the rose you see below.   The interesting thing about this piece is you can use it as a brooche or as a hair clip.  Fabulous idea !

Rose can be used as brooche or hairclip.  So stylish and super clever !  Love it all…

Thought for the day is one of my favourites;

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the number of moments that take our breath away !”

Have a wonderul day and Happy Threading !
