It’s Friday !

It’s Friday !  Thank goodness.  It’s been a frantic week of working all hours to close things off as we head towards the 30 June deadline.

The rose is my Friday rose.  I took this photo in a friend’s garden over summer when her rose garden was in full bloom.  I’ve been thinking about adding a Saturday morning flower arrangement as part of my weekly posts.  As you can guess from my blog apart for embroideries of all sorts I am passionate about flowers and plants of all types.  It is one of the many gifts God decided to give us and for that I am very grateful. We’ll see I might be able to squeeze it in with the boys football practice and other activities.

This weekend I would like to;

• Finish off the free cat cross stitch chart.
• Try to complete stitching the ladybird needleholder.  I ran out of black wool for the legs of the ladybird.  I was using dark blue wool but it does not look right.  I will have to unstitch the legs and start again.  There is not much left to stitch but again it is finding time, time and more time.

Thought for this Friday is another good one to think about “Please notice when you are happy !” Sometimes it’s easier to look at the things that arn’t right and when we are unhappy rather than noticing all those fabulous times when we are happy !
