“I’m late
I’m late
For a very important date.
No time to say “Hello.”
Goodbye.
I’m late, I’m late, I’m late.”
That’s how I feel today. Like the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. I had planned to finish off the free cat cross stitch chart by today however not unexpectedly as we head to 30 June 2009 deadlines my “day” job is taking over my life. Things are extraordinarly busy at work right now and when I get home at the end of the day I am finding that I have very little energy left to finish off my design. It is a little frustrating but I know this busy time will pass I just have to get through it !
However, today is another day and I have resolved to finish the design tonight no matter what happens !
I leave you with the passage for the day which I absolutely love. It’s called the “Roger Banister Attitude”. For those of you who don’t know Roger Bannister, he was the first man to run a mile in less than 4 minutes. Since the time of the Greeks, it had been the prevailing widom that the body cannot withstand running a 4 min. mile. Amazingle in the same year that Roger did it, some 30 other runners then did it also.
You can have anything on earth that you want
once you mentally accept the fact that you can have it.
If you want success, begin thinking of yourself as a success.
The feeling of being succesful has to come first.
If you have a deep inner conviction
that you will always have all that you need,
if you actually feel prosperous, it will be so.
only your mind sets your limits.
The only thing that stands between you and what you want from life is
Simply the will to pursue it and the faith
to believe that it is possible.
Happy Threading !
