Roses to stitch with wool and canvas

This weekend I thought I would get out my water color set, paints and paint.  I love acrylic paints but watercolors are gorgeous too.  I am not a trained artist but I love to have a go, experiment and have fun.  Once the paint had dried I thought I would stitch the design.  I have not finished it but I thought the result was interesting.

I adapted the watercolor and translated it into a needlepoint chart.  The chart would be gorgeous stitched as a small cushion top or framed for your wall.
