Spring is on its way !  The air is becoming warmer as each day passes.  I took the above shot of a little plastic bird I keep on my kitchen window ledge sprinkled with Geranium leaves as it reminds me that the warmer weather is on its way.

They are very popular in Scotland and all over the world and I love them.   I think they make great subject matters for cross stitch and for stitching with wool and canvas.  I drew the dog and then painted it in water colors to give me an idea of what the stitched design would look like.
