Stitch some forget me nots today ..

Forget Me Not Watercolor

Forget Me Not Watercolor

20 August 2009

Today’s chart are forget me nots in a pot.  Forget me nots are old fashioned flowers that grow in fields and in cottage gardens.  I painted am impression of forget me nots with watercolors to provide the inspiration for the charts I decided to create for stitching.  I thought I would create something fairly simple to stitch.

The cross stitch chart is very simple and can be used to stitch a border on a towel for a laundry or maybe kitchen.  You can purchase this little chart together with seven other original cross stitch charts in the Best of Happy Threads Charts Issue One – 2010 by visiting the Happy Threads Shop.

Thought for the day comes from the Book the Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz – He says one of the four agreements is to

“Always do your Best” – “Your best is going to change from moment to moment and will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick.  Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret”.

Happy Threading !
