So it’s Wednesday and time for another chart to stitch. First though, a little word about our new Cat who has settled well into the house. He is absolutely gorgeous and is having a great time with us. His favorite spot is sitting by the window watching the world go by.
I have designed another little bookmark specifically for my 9 year old son who is now enjoying reading lots of books. He also really loves owls and so do I. Owls are creatures of the night mostly but are also associated with wisdom and knowledge hence a good subject to stitch on a bookmark ! Owls are truly amazing birds.
I designed this bookmark to stitch in cross stitch. It’s an easy little bookmark to stitch for the kids or even by the kids themselves.
Update May 2012 – This little bookmark is no longer available. Happy Threads charts are available only for a limited time. If you don’t buy them when they are released then you might miss out! Please visit the Happy Threads Store for new designs released throughout the year.

Thought for the day comes from the book by David Niven “the 100 Simple Secrets of Happy People”
He says ” It’s not what happened, it’s how you think about what happened”. ”There is no objective way to tell you if you have had a good life, a good day, or a good hour. Your life is a a success based only upon your judgement”.
Enjoy the day !
Charlie
