Seaside Shell
Friday 18 September 2009
Today is the last day of my holiday. I say goodbye to the Sun and the seaside that has been our companions for the past week. A week that has brought an unusual amount of revelations.
As we head back to the big city we will remember the sound of the waves outside our window and miss the vast expanses of beautiful clear waters that greeted us each morning. But holidays have to come to an end and we are lucky to have the lovely memories to keep with us until the next time in the sun.
As a memory of our time here I have created a little bookmark to stitch with wool and canvas. It is a little different to the others I have designed but I am beginning to experiment with different designs and pattern combinations while still trying to keep the design easy to stitch quickly.

Tomorrow I will take this design and convert it into a cross stitch. I will have to adapt it as not all the elements from this design will work in cross stitch. We’ll see how we go.
I will be back to blogging as usual after this weekend. Until then have fun and remember always ask for what you want from others because they don’t know what you expect from them unless you tell them. Nicely of course !
Happy Threading !
