Thursday at last ! I have not had a chance to blog this week due to work commitments. As we head towards Christmas everyone seems to think everything has to be done by then. I am not sure why there is this rush just before the end of the year. I see it each year. Maybe people think it is a natural end and they can rule off the year and start fresh in the New Year. I guess I do that myself in my personal life.
My sons are also winding down their school year and I am receiving many notices advising me to buy a red T shirt for one child in the Christmas pageant and to create another outfit for the other son in yet another school function. Safe to say we are heading towards the “silly” season.
Today’s free chart is a tiny little Christmas pudding. Our family loves Christmas pudding with ice cream and custard even though we are not English. The chart will be so quick to cross stitch. Use it any way you like. I will stitch mine for a few very Special Christmas cards.

I also thought I would profile various blogs from now on that I liked. You will see they are not all related to cross stitch or needlepoint. There are so many people who have so many wonderful blogs. You may already know them, if not then I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.
The first blog belongs to Rose Deniz painter, designer, illustrator, columnist, writer and mother of two living outside of Istanbul Turkey. She is originally from Wisconsin and holds an MFA in Painting from Cranbrook Academy of Art (2004). I absolutely love her work and I am sure you will agree she is very talented. She also happens to love cross stitch and cooking. Check out her blog for yourself and visit her website to see all her work.
I leave you now to enjoy your day.
Happy Threading !
