Sleeping Cat

Sleeping Cat

11 December 2009

So here he is asleep on the bed and under the rug which normally sits at the end of the bed.  My sons had put the blanket on our sleeping cat last night and he looked so peaceful sleeping next to the Love pillow.  What a funny cat he is !

In my last blog entry I indicated I would spend time posting about things other than free charts.  Well this is the first one.  I am now actually stitching again and it is really nice.  Best of all I am stitching my very own Happy Threads original design “Anything is Possible” sampler which is now available at the Happy Threads Shop for only  $ 3.00 US !  Not much really for all that stitching pleasure !

I have not made much progress yet but I will as the days unfold show you progress photos until it is finished !

I am stitching the design on linen and although a little more challenging than on Aida I just love the finished result.

I also thought I would mention one of my favorite blogs at the moment.  It is Carina’s craftblog.  Carina is a Danish woman living in Essex England.  She has a fabulous blog and has the beautiful embroidery patterns.  She also has an ebook which is worth a look at.  So if you have not visited her blog yet do so you will be sure to find some wonderful things.

Until next time Happy Threading !

I love the picture of your cat sleeping on the pillow! I’m a cat lover and x-stitch junkie. Seems like every time I sit down to a project, one of my cats is there to “help” with the thread. :)
