It has been an entire week since my last blog post. I have really wanted to create new charts and blog but there was absolutely no time again in between house painting and moving, the kids a full time job and traveling to attend a birthday party over the weekend. We’ll see how I manage the rest of the week.
The above photo was taken on a weekend away last year at the very end of winter. There is something about the photo that appeals to me so I thought I would share it with you.
We are a week or so away from Easter. In this country we have Easter Friday and Easter Monday off as public holidays. In our family Easter is a time for reflection. It is a time to give thanks and to spend time together. The children particularly enjoy the Easter eggs which arrive on Easter sunday.
Today’s free chart are some very easy, colorful Easter eggs which could be stitched in no time at all. The chart is for cross stitch but could easily be converted to needlepoint if that is your choice.

As things settle down in my life I am going to focus on my blog again. I thought I would let you all know that I will start to remove some of the charts to create a little book with the best Happy Threads charts. This will happen in the next two weeks so if you have not downloaded your favorite chart yet you have a week or so do so. After that the chart will be for sale through the Happy Threads shop.
Thought for the day is by William Morris “Love is Enough !”. So true, if you have every material possession in the world but you don’t have love there is not much point. I think the same goes for health. Love and health are the two most important things in life. The material stuff comes second.
Have a great day !
Charlie
