Cross stitch shoes is finished !

I have finished the cross stitch shoes design I created as a free chart on this blog a few weeks ago.  Visit the Free Happy Threads Chart at the top of the page to download the free chart.

I am pleased with the result and will use the finished chart to make a shoe bag which will be available as a video tutorial.

I beaded the top of the shoe.  It’s a little difficult to see in the above photo but I took a close up shot.  The beading was a lot of fun and is a nice way to finish off the design and give it a bit of a lift.

And another close up of the beading.  I beaded the shoe using very fine invisible thread and various white and silver beads.  It did not take long but it does add to the effect of the finished design.

I will be posting the tutorial on how to use the design to create a shoe bag some time this week as I am filming the tutorial this afternoon and it always takes a few days to create the finished video.
