Green and White
Wednesday 3 February 2010
As I write this post I am sitting in a hotel in New York, USA. Yes it took me 35 hours of traveling time door to door to be here for a week of meetings. I flew in on Monday and I leave again on Friday. I have back to back meetings and not much time for shopping or seeing much of New York. Maybe next visit I can have a little more time.
It’s my second night here and I can’t sleep. It’s about 3.00 a.m in the morning. It’s also cold and it was snowing this evening as I left the office with my colleagues. Only a few days ago it was 38 C and a hot northerly was blowing at home ! This planet is a beautiful and amazing place and I am lucky enough to witness it from two perspectives in a short period of time.
Before I try to catch some sleep again ahead of a busy day, I thought I would share with you a free little chart I have designed while on my long trip here. It’s a tiny alphabet chart for the letter A. It’s the beginning of a series of an alphabet series I am designing but it is going slowly.
So the chart looks like this when stitched although the stitched images comes from my computer as I have not actually had time to stitch it. You get the general impression.

Now for the chart
Please click on the image to download the image (For Personal Use Only !)
I have mentioned this before, but it would so nice if you download the free chart to stop by and say hello and leave a comment. It will only take a minute and it would be very nice to hear from you !
Before I leave I thought I would refer you to a gorgeous blog called Little Cotton Rabbits. It is a knitting site and the knitting is exquisite as is the blog.
The blog is owned by Julie who says “I‘m Julie – wife, mum of 2 and knitter. My son is severely autistic and so life is a bit of a rollercoaster ride. I write a little about our experiences in the hope of helping others in a similar situation and to give a little insight into some aspects of life with an autistic child. I also write a lot about knitting about which I’m passionate – it has helped keep me sane through some of the more difficult times with my son.
I hope you visit the blog because it’s gorgeous and well worth a visit.
So I am off to sleep (or try at least to sleep). I leave you for now and I may not blog again until I get home as my days will be very full with lots of work and traveling home again. In the meantime, be happy and stay safe !
